Description:
The Peak Pilates® Level II Comprehensive Instructor Certification Program will focus on the Intermediate System, deepening your ability to teach Pilates to both individuals and groups. Level II is a 12-week curriculum broken down into three modules. Throughout the Level II curriculum you will learn to perform and teach the Intermediate Exercises on the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Barrels, Chairs, Power Circle and Arm Weight Series. You will learn to identify, understand, and address imbalances in the body, discover how to apply imagery to impact movement quality, and add additional touch techniques to their tactile cueing repertoire.
Level II Module 1 focuses on Intermediate Level Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, and endings. Movement exploration will examine how to refine transitions, how to monitor static and dynamic body alignment, and to provide corrections that have impact. Instructors will discover the role of imagery in guiding and refining movement. It includes a rich library of digital course materials as well as a two-day live training workshop with a Master Instructor.
Digital course materials included:
· Study Guide that guides you through assignments and practice activities to complete before attending your live workshop.
· Level II Module 1 Exercise Reference Guide
· Video libraries for Level II Mat, Reformer, Cadillac and The Arm Weight Series
· Narrated presentations, audio tutorials and handouts
Course Prerequisites:
· Successful completion of Level I
· Completion of interim hours
· Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications recommended
Registration: We highly recommend registering at least 4 weeks prior to the live training workshop to allow ample time for the required assignments and practice activities. The material covered in these assignments will not be repeated during the workshop, and they must be completed in order to be eligible for assessment in Module 3.
