LEVEL ONE

The Peak Pilates® Classical Comprehensive Certification Level I curriculum focuses on the Introductory and Beginner Systems, to lay a solid foundation for teaching Pilates to individuals and groups.

LEVEL TWO

The Peak Pilates® Level II Comprehensive Instructor Certification Program will focus on the Intermediate System, deepening your ability to teach Pilates to both individuals and groups. Level II is a 12-week curriculum broken down into three modules. Throughout Level II you will learn to perform and teach the Intermediate Exercises on the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Barrels, Chairs, Power Circle, and Arm Weight Series. You will learn to identify, understand, and address imbalances in the body, discover how to apply imagery to impact movement quality, and add additional touch techniques to their tactile cueing repertoire.

LEVEL THREE

The Peak Pilates® Level III Comprehensive Instructor Certification Program prepares the instructor to perform and teach the advanced exercises for Mat, Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Barrels, Chairs, and Ped-o-Pul as well as auxiliary exercises for foot corrector, sand bag, towel, and jump board. Teachers will enrich the ability to guide movement quality and progression, selectively prioritize corrections, and prepare to teach students with common knee and hip issues.

The Basic Mat course introduces foundational Pilates mat exercises and progressive modifications to accommodate a range of Pilates clients. The course also presents the Peak Pilates® 5 Part Formula for Success—a framework to help you master the art and science of classical Pilates. There are no prerequisites for the course, but previous exposure to classical mat Pilates is recommended.

PEAK PILATES® INTERMEDIATE MAT CERTIFICATION

The Intermediate Mat course introduces new vocabulary and exercises and includes a more in-depth discussion of the Pilates principles behind exercise order and progression. Key teaching concepts presented during the course expand on techniques for effective instruction, including imagery cues, effective touch techniques and correcting, and contraindications for exercises. Attendees must have completed the Peak Pilates® Basic Mat Course before enrolling and we recommend current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
