DEBI VINCENT

Owner of Active Pilates, Former Peak Pilates Master Instructor Trainer, NCPT Certified and Nationally Certified Personal Trainer

Debi Vincent is the founder of Active Pilates Studio and co-founder of A Pilates Place, a collaborative studio space in Crownsville, MD.

Debi is a recognized leader in the fitness industry and is regularly called upon to share her knowledge and expertise with other trainers across the country. 

As a Comprehensively Certified  Pilates Instructor Trainer through Peak Pilates, NCPT and a Nationally Certified personal trainer, group exercise, Zumba, and spinning instructor, Debi has spent more than 36 years in the industry. She holds a degree in Fitness Management from Lock Haven University as well as several fitness certifications. Her experience as a National competitive athlete has given her the experience to coach, motivate and inspire her clients over the last 36 years. Her specialized training and competitive experience, coupled with her energy, enthusiasm, and passion for sharing knowledge, have been the foundation of her successful business.  She has hundreds of dedicated clients who are continuously inspired by her enthusiasm, knowledge, and constant support. 


After many years in the profession, Debi has found a deep connection with educating and training instructors. She is proud to expand her knowledge and work with Clare Dunphys Elevate program. This program will take certified and experienced instructors through a 10-week mentoring program that will take their teaching to another level!

Debi joined collegues Kim Kandra of Kimmotion Pilates and Jennifer Politte of Pilates on the Bay in June, 2021 to create A Pilates Place in Crownsville, MD. The three studios have collaborated to create the areas top Classical Pilates Studio that offers teacher education, pilates lessons for clients of all levels AND much more in the corrective exercise, post rehab, and pilates programing industry.

 
Debi's strong attention to detail and keeping her clients injury-free, improving overall strength, flexibility, and improving posture is what keeps her clients coming back for more!
